Cycling for Fun and Fitness
This is a 10 week course with the goal to cycle 20 KM in 1-1.5 hr comfortably. This is a great course for those looking to do their first charity ride or looking to loose some weight and/or improve their cardio-vascular health.
Cold Weather Cycling Part 2
Now that we understand how to stay warm on our ride let’s have a look at what we need to do to keep the bike running. Most of what we will discuss is very important for those that store their bicycle for the winter, especially if it is covered and outside or in unheated storage. Temperature changes and condensation can wreak havoc with your bicycle as it sits all winter, so do your winter maintenance before you store for the winter.

Custom Skate Sharpening

Indoor Cycling
Spinning is an indoor aerobic conditioning program utilizing stationary exercise bikes or your bike and a trainer. It is performed in a group setting with the help of an instructor and/or spinning DVD. During the class you vary your pace -- sometimes pedaling as fast as you can, other times cranking up the tension and pedaling slowly from a standing position. This helps you to focus inwardly and work on your mind as well as your body.
